earl doesn't much like being held when he could be walking so he made it difficult to take a decent picture... first shot of the booties. see me in the reflection of the mirror. i got a new sweater yesterday and i love it. it's under my now ugly green jacket.

we live in the village and it's a very animal friendly neighborhood. our building has a specific dog park where all the canine muttly's can run around free of the ever oppressive leash, sniffing butt and marking their territory. earl's one of the smaller dogs and he tries really hard to play with the big boys but usually they just ignore him
ah ha! look at those stupid boots!
he was running up and down the snow, slipping and sliding cuz he can't really gain purchase with no nails... poor thing... but his feet were going all over the place and i just died laughing... dogs in shoes are so funny cuz they don't know how to walk. i suggest you try it if you haven't. i gotta learn how to put video on this thing so i can tape him and you can see for yourselves.
